BC Day: All library locations will be closed on Monday, August 2, for BC Day. Regular hours resume on Tuesday, August 3.
Use our Cricut Maker cutting machine to quickly and accurately cut hundreds of materials, helping you make almost any DIY project.
Available at Westside Learning Lab, Downtown Kelowna Library Branch, Vernon Branch, and Golden Branch.
The Cricut Maker is available for all ORL cardholders to use. You must first complete an online certification course before you can reserve and use this tool independently: https://my.nicheacademy.com/orlbc/course/24288.
You will be asked to create a Niche Academy account (requires email address) to view the full course.
You must agree and adhere to ORL’s Makerspace Guidelines and the Maker Agreement.
Bring your own materials to be cut on the machine. The library will not be providing materials for patrons at this time.
Go to Spaces, our online booking calendar, to browse and reserve our maker stations and tools. You will be asked to create a Spaces account (and confirm your email address) in order to complete your first booking request.
