Great news, magazine lovers! The Economist is now available in PressReader. You can now access award-winning news and analysis of politics, business, science, finance and technology in The Economist through the PressReader website or app.
You can access each issue of The Economist for 24 hours in the PressReader app. This means you can read and download an issue of the publication in the PressReader app, but after 24 hours, the download will be removed. You will see a pop-up message in the app letting you know that the issue will be available on your mobile device for the next 24 hours:
However, if you return to The Economist in the PressReader app after 24 hours, you can read and download the publication again - so all issues are always available!
This 24-hour download restriction DOES NOT apply to the PressReader website or web browser access - so you won’t see a pop-up like the above when you access and read issues of The Economist that way.
Note: The Globe and Mail is available to read in-library only, if you try to open the newspaper from home you will be brought to a blank page. Select the Catalog button, or ≡ icon, in the top left corner of the screen, then refresh the page, to choose a different publication.
