With your library card, you will be able to watch up to 8 films per month.

  • Each card holder receives 8 play credits per month.
  • Each video will use 1 play credit each (with the exception of Kanopy Kids and Great Courses, which don't use play credits).
  • Pressing play on a video uses a play credit, you will have 3 days to view the video as many times as you like without using another play credit.
  • Your play credits will reset back to 8 on the first day of each month.

Have you created a Kanopy Account between April 9 and May 17? You may see a message saying “Membership Inactive: Please reactivate your membership” when trying to play a movie.  Select OK, enter your library card number an PIN, and select Verify.
