The Okanagan Regional Library (ORL) is home to many creative independent and self-published authors. We want to help highlight your creations! ORL’s Regional Reads Collection exists to help showcase new books by writers and illustrators in our communities.
Locals! Authors must live in the service area of an ORL branch. The ORL will also consider books written about a community within the ORL service area.

Complete the application form. Once we have received your application, you’ll hear from us within 90 days.
Note: Preference will be given to books of local significant interest, or which have received media attention.

This form and the title(s) submitted for the Regional Reads collection will be reviewed by the Head of Collection Development and/or Head of Youth Services, and other library staff members as appropriate. Once the review is complete, the individual completing this form will receive a response outlining the decision.
