Have you ever wanted to learn sign language? Now is the time! Learn the basics of American Sign Language and gain exposure to deaf culture in a fun, engaging, creative way. Your experienced teacher will use rhymes, stories, and games to help you learn a new language.

Want to learn how to design your own board games? Join us online for this virtual workshop series. At this workshop series you will learn the ins-and-outs of board game design with local board game designer Jonathan Thwaites from OOMM Board Games.

Go from graphic making basics to making a design for the CRICUT Maker. In this 1-hour program, we will jump into Inkscape (a free program you can download at home) and make a pumpkin graphic that we can turn into CRICUT projects! We will go over creating a flat graphic for 1 colour, and multi-layered graphics for multi-colours and multi-cuts. (https://inkscape.org/)

In this 1-hour program, we will do an introduction to video editing using the free video editor included with Windows 10. This program is designed to give the patron basic understanding of the following video editing concepts: Learn how to insert, cut, combine and rotate clips. Plus adding music and text. Then finishing with exporting your movie and more.

Learn some 3D polygon-modelling basics and see why Blender is such a powerful and exciting digital tool! We’ll use this free and open-source 3D modelling software to build a small 3D scene and produce a photo-realistic rendered image of it. Learn some terminology, how to navigate the 3D viewport, and explore Blender’s many features! (https://www.blender.org/)
