We are books, and we are so much more than books. We are a place for knowledge, opportunities and personal development. Now more than ever, access to lifelong learning and technology is essential to help people transform their lives. They are foundations for personal wellbeing as well as shared economic prosperity and social cohesion. The Okanagan Regional Library has a vital role to play in providing that access freely and equitably.
Like post-secondary institutions and hospitals, libraries across Canada are recognizing that tax support only goes so far, and that in order to be centres of excellence in supporting our communities, private investment can make a tremendous difference. We invite you to consider helping your ORL.
There are many ways to get involved:
Donations The ORL gratefully accepts monetary gifts, which help to enhance the library's ability to better serve you and your community.
