Borrowing from Other Libraries

Requests are paused until January 3

Starting December 1, public libraries take a break from loaning out books to other libraries. During this time, you can still submit your requests to library staff, but the requests will not be sent to the lending library until January 3.

Interlibrary Loans: Borrowing books from other libraries

Can’t find what you are looking for after searching our library?

An interlibrary loan can be made to obtain books, microfilms, photocopies, and other material not owned by the Okanagan Regional Library.

Availability, loan periods, lending charges, and renewals are at the discretion of the lending library.

Customers can check online for material held by other library systems in British Columbia by searching Illume.

For help in finding material in other libraries or to submit your interlibrary loan request, please contact your local library branch.
