Starting December 1, public libraries take a break from loaning out books to other libraries. You can still put in your requests with library staff, but your requests will not be sent to the lending library until January 2.
Staff can get books, microfilms, and other materials from a different library system and lend them to you, through an interlibrary loan.
Search Illume to find items held by other libraries in BC.
Ready to make an interlibrary loan request? Ask staff at your nearest library for help.
Loan periods, lending charges, and renewals, are decided by the lending library.
