Use the Vinyl Cutter to cut out vinyl designs, which can be used for wall murals or for iron-on vinyl transfer designs made for a T-Shirt. Vinyl designs can be created using our Cricut Makers.

To use the Vinyl Cutter by yourself, you must first complete a certification course for the Cricut Maker.
The Vinyl Cutter is works like the Cricut Maker, while Cricut certification will provide you with the basics for creating your designs and preparing them for cutting, we will provide you with a brief introduction on how to set up the Vinyl Cutter on your first visit.
Complete the Cricut Certification Course on Niche Academy. You will be asked to create a Niche Academy account (requires email address) to view the full course.

Download the Makerspace Waiver & Guidelines form [PDF]. Complete the Maker Waiver form (page 1), agree to and follow the Makerspace Guidelines (page 2). Bring the completed form with you when you come to a Makerspace for the first time.
