Renewing Your Library Card

Whether you use it once a day or once a year, every Okanagan Regional Library card will expire.

Most library cards will expire once every 2 years.

Call or visit your library branch, or Contact Us online to confirm your contact information, and your card is renewed! Be sure to have your library card handy when you contact staff to renew.

eCards

Have you signed up for a card online? Your eCard will expire after 8 months. Visit your library branch, bring your ID, and staff will give you a physical card with full borrowing privileges.

Organization cards

Organization cards expire once a year. To renew, an organization leader will need to fill out and sign a new Organization Membership Form (available at the library). Completed forms can be returned to the library or emailed to circulation@orl.bc.ca

Non-resident cards

Non-resident cards are valid for 3 months and need renewal after that. There is a $25 fee for each 3-month period. Call or visit your library branch to renew it. For phone renewals, the fee will be placed on your record, you will need to pay the fee before you can use your card.
