Visit ANY of the 30 ORL locations to

• Pick up and return library items. 
• Browse our collection of books, magazines, newspapers, CD, DVDs, or borrow an experience from our Library of Things collection. You can borrow up to 100 items at a time!
• Use the computer stations (including word processing programs) and printers.
• Use free Wi-Fi.
• Request books from other libraries. If we don't have it, we'll find it for you.

A some locations you can...

• Bring your creative projects to life in our Makerspaces using our equipment and software to build and create objects, crafts, digital media, and more.
• Reserve meeting or study rooms.

About your Library Card

Keep it secure

Create your own PIN and keep it secure; like a credit card. You are responsible for any fees on overdue or damaged materials taken out with your card. As long as you don’t accrue more than $20.00 in fees, you’re good to go!

Notify your library branch as soon as possible.

Your card comes up for renewal every two years. 

Use your card at any BC library

Get access to public libraries throughout the province - when you show your ORL card, you can get a BC Library OneCard to borrow materials from their collection.

Our eLibrary is at your fingertips 24/7.

• Renew and request library materials on our catalogue.
• Download eBooks, eAudiobooks, and eMagazines.
• Read online newspapers from around the world.
• Research.
• Enjoy eMovies and eMusic.

Participate in FREE programs and events

Many ORL locations bring in guest speakers, authors, and host community events. For Kids and Young Adults, we have Stories Times, Activities, Challenges, and Educational programs.
