About the Okanagan Regional Library (ORL)
This position is in the Mission branch of the Okanagan Regional Library and is located in the beautiful lakeside city of Kelowna, B.C. The ORL is Canada’s 16th largest public library system, serving over 370,000 people and an area of roughly 50,000 square km. Libraries in the system have won numerous awards, and the culture of innovation and community connection throughout the ORL makes it an exciting place to work.
The Opportunity
The successful candidate will be planning and organizing library branch resources and services to meet community needs and interests. The individual will develop and maintain effective relationships with staff, customers, and the community; be a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills; and stay aware of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in public library services.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Education
Master's Degree from an accredited Library School or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Related Experience
