Okanagan Regional Library Bids Farewell to Lynn with a Retirement Celebration

The Okanagan Regional Library invites community members to join in celebrating Lynn’s remarkable career and contributions as she retires at the end of December 2024. The library will host an informal farewell event with coffee and cake on Friday, December 13, from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Okanagan Falls Library, 850 Railway Lane, Okanagan Falls, V0H 1R4, BC. This drop-in event is open to all who would like to wish Lynn well as she embarks on her next adventure.
 
Lynn has been a beloved presence at Okanagan Regional Library, where her dedication to fostering a welcoming and enriching environment has left a lasting impact on both patrons and colleagues. “Lynn’s warmth, enthusiasm, and commitment to our community have been a true gift,” says Danielle Hubbard, CEO of Okanagan Regional Library. “We’re incredibly grateful for her service and wish her all the best in this new chapter.”

Reflecting on her time with the library, Lynn shares, “It’s been an incredible journey, and I’m so thankful for the friendships and connections I’ve made here. I look forward to celebrating with everyone in the community in this relaxed and joyful setting.”
