Lake Country Seed Library
Lake Country Seed Library is a FREE program to promote food security in our community. We ask that any surplus food that you grow be shared with others who may be facing food insecurity.
Simply register and you may check-out (have) up to 10 packages of seeds per household, per year.
In the fall, consider donating non-GMO seeds back to the Library.
We have seed envelopes we can provide you with, to keep the program sustainable.
This program is in partnership with #food4all

Lake Country Book Club

The Adult Book Club meets Sept to April.

The Lake Country Branch has 6 internet stations with word processing capabilities available during Branch open hours.
Wi-Fi access inside the Branch is currently available with limited seating.
Printing and photocopying is $0.25 per page, black and white only. Scanning to email is available and is free of charge.
We can provide tours to school classes/groups free of charge.
For students, we can provide an introduction to the library or tailor the visit around a project or assignment.
For adult groups, we can provide a tour of the library and ORL's many resources!
Contact us up to two months in advance to book your tour!
Please note the Group Study Room is currently only available for those impacted by the wildfires in Kelowna/Lake Country as a compassionate care space.
Public use of the Group Study Room is intended for use by group gatherings of two or more people for educational, cultural or civic purposes.
Library events and programs will take precedence.
The room accommodates approximately 10 people and is available for booking on a first-come-first-served basis one month in advance.
