No phone call. No trip to the branch. No waiting in line. The Okanagan Regional Library is pleased to introduce eRenew, a new online service that allows eligible patrons to renew their library cards from home in just a few easy steps.
For years, renewing a library card required a phone call or a visit to a branch. eRenew offers a new self-service option, making it easier than ever to keep your library account active and continue borrowing books, accessing digital resources, and enjoying everything the ORL has to offer.
Who Can Use eRenew?
eRenew is available for the following card types:
- Adult and Junior Resident
- Adult and Junior Print Disabled
- Extended Loan
What You’ll Need
To use eRenew successfully:
- Your account information must match the information currently on file with the ORL.
- You must have an email address attached to your library account.
If your address, phone number, or other account details have changed, you’ll need to contact your local branch before using eRenew so staff can update your information.
If your account does not currently have an email address attached, eRenew will guide you through adding one during the renewal process.
A Frequently Requested Feature
Online card renewal has been one of the most commonly requested account features from ORL patrons. eRenew provides a convenient new option for many cardholders while helping library staff continue to support patrons efficiently across our region.
Ready to Renew?
Visit the eRenew page to see if your card is eligible and begin the renewal process: We hope this new service makes it even easier to stay connected to your library!
