Season’s Greetings! The Okanagan Regional Library’s branches will be closed for our Christmas and New Year’s Extended Closure from Tuesday, 23 December 2025 through Thursday, 1 January 2026.
All branches resume regular hours on Friday, 2 January 2026. During this closure, branch book drop bins will also be closed. Please plan your book returns and in-person visits before or after these dates.
The good news: your ORL library card still works from home during the closure. Our Digital Collection is open 24/7, so you can keep reading, listening, watching, and learning throughout the holidays.

Here’s a quick way to start:
- Download Libby from your device’s app store.
- Open Libby and search for Okanagan Regional Library.
- Sign in with your ORL library card number and PIN.
- Browse or search for titles you want to read or listen to.
- Tap Borrow to check out an ebook or e-audiobook, then start reading or listening right away.
