The Great Courses offers lecture series on a wide range of topics, including history, science, business, and creative pursuits.
You can access The Great Courses through the ORL’s Kanopy Streaming Films collection. To watch, you’ll need a Kanopy account linked to your library card.
Monthly Tickets
You receive 20 tickets each month to watch content on Kanopy.
Watching a Great Courses lecture series typically uses 5 tickets. Visit Kanopy Help for more details about how tickets work.
Watch on a Computer
Go to the Kanopy Streaming Films page and create or sign in to your Kanopy account.
- Select Add Library Card and enter your barcode number and PIN
- Create your account using your name, email, and password
- Check your email and verify your account
- Browse the Instructional category to find The Great Courses
- Select a title and press Play
Watch on a Phone or Tablet
Download the Kanopy app from your device’s app store.
To get started:
- Open the app and select Get Started
- Search for Okanagan Regional Library
- Enter your library card number and PIN
- Create your account and verify your email
- Select a video and press Play
If you already have an account, simply sign in.
