Usage Notes
Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) is used to transfer ebooks borrowed from the ORL’s Digital Collection to compatible e-readers.
⚠️ Important: Please use the most current version of Adobe Digital Editions available from their official website. Older versions may pose security risks and can cause errors or compatibility issues.

Alternate Reading Options
If you’re having ongoing trouble with ADE, try one of these easier options:
Read in your browser
Click Read in Browser from the Checked Out page in your library account or the Loans page on the ORL OverDrive site.
Use the Libby App
Download the free Libby app on your iPhone, iPad, or Android device to read ebooks without ADE.
Library staff are unable to provide additional support for Adobe Digital Editions, and Adobe does not offer direct support for ADE. If you’re still experiencing error messages after completing the steps in this guide, please visit Overdrive Help and consider reading your ebooks using the Libby app or directly in your browser.
