New ORL Website Brings Faster Search and Fresh Content

The Okanagan Regional Library (ORL) is proud to announce the launch of its new website, designed to better connect patrons with the library’s expansive resources, services, and community programs.

The redesigned site offers a fresh look, improved navigation, and mobile-friendly features to help patrons discover what the ORL has to offer—faster and easier than ever before. From simplified search tools and layouts to streamlined program listings and access to hundreds of digital resources, the new site is a one-stop destination for learners, readers, and creators of all ages.

“We wanted our website to reflect the same sense of welcome and discovery that patrons experience when they walk into our branches,” said Danielle Hubbard, CEO of the Okanagan Regional Library. “This redesign is about creating better access for everyone—whether you’re booking a Meeting Room, streaming a movie, or finding your next favourite read.”

The new website also showcases improved accessibility features and a refreshed events calendar that highlights what’s happening across all 30 ORL branches. In addition, patrons can now enjoy regularly updated content including blog posts, themed reading lists, and branch spotlights that celebrate local stories and staff recommendations.
