Using LinkedIn Learning in Your Browser
LinkedIn Learning works on computers, smartphones, and tablets through your web browser. Supported browsers include:
- Chrome
- Firefox
- Safari
- Microsoft Edge
- Opera
The current version and previous two releases of these browsers are supported.
Signing In on the ORL Website
Step 1
Visit the ORL’s LinkedIn Learning page.
Step 2
Select Get Started on the “Your Library Invites You to LinkedIn Learning” screen.
Step 3
Enter:
- Your library card barcode number (no spaces)
- Your PIN
Then select Continue, followed by Sounds Good.
Step 4
The first time you sign in, LinkedIn Learning will ask you to choose topics you’re interested in learning about. Select at least one topic, then click Continue.
Finding Courses
Looking for something specific? Type a topic into the search bar and press Enter. Want to browse instead? Select Browse beside the search bar, then explore categories like:
- Business
- Creative
- Technology
Select any course title to begin watching.
Using the LinkedIn Learning App
You can also stream courses through the free LinkedIn Learning app on smartphones and tablets. Download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
Available for:
- iPhones and iPads running iOS 13 or newer
- Android devices running Android 5 or newer
Signing In to the App
You do not need a personal LinkedIn account to use the app with your ORL card.
Step 1
Open the app and tap Sign In.
Step 2
For the Library ID, enter: “ORL” and tap Continue.
Step 3
Enter your:
- Library card barcode number
- PIN
Tap Continue to begin learning.
Privacy Notes
You do not need a personal LinkedIn profile or email address to use LinkedIn Learning through the ORL. When you sign in with your library card, you agree to LinkedIn’s:
