All the Feels Winter Reading Challenge: Congrats to Our Winners!

The ORL’s All the Feels Winter Reading Challenge wrapped up at the end of January, and we’re delighted to announce our prize winners. Congratulations to:

R. Wilson, the Mission Branch winner of a Kobo Clara eReader!
C. Derksen, the Salmon Arm Branch winner of a $50 Indigo gift card in the Adult Winter Challenge prize draw.
R. Christie, the Lake Country Branch winner of a $50 Indigo gift card in the Adult Winter Challenge prize draw.

Running from 1 October 2025 to 31 January 2026, All the Feels invited adult readers across the region to explore stories that spark emotion, reflection, and connection. Participants logged their reading, completed creative activities, and earned cheerful emoji-themed badges along the way. The challenge encouraged readers to spend time with four universal emotions: happiness, inspiration, sadness, and worry. From designing a custom emoji to creating a Happiness Soundtrack or writing a letter to a future self, each activity offered a chance to slow down, reflect, and engage with stories in a new way.

Programs like the Adult Winter Reading Challenge celebrate the joy of reading while building community across the ORL’s branches. Every book logged, activity completed, and moment of reflection helped bring the challenge to life. Thank you to everyone who participated and shared their reading journeys this winter.

Stay tuned for more reading challenges and community activities throughout the year. Happy reading, everyone!
