What a summer! Thanks to thousands of enthusiastic kids, teens, and families, this year’s Summer Reading Club (SRC) was another adventure to remember.
- Read-to-Me Club (preschoolers/families): 1,930 participants
- Summer Reading Club (ages 5–12): 7,602 participants (7,365 in-person, 237 online)
- Teen Summer Reading Club: 1,049 participants (whaaaaat??!! There are a lot of seriously awesome teen readers in our communities!)
That’s over 10,500 readers and listeners turning pages across the Okanagan this summer!
Even better, our branches set a new record for SRC programs:
- 650 programs for kids aged 5–12
- 29,951 attendees total (up from 28,713 last year!)
From crafts and games to challenges and celebrations, it was our busiest and brightest summer yet.
