This program will resume Wednesdays at 1:00pm.

For all children 2 to 5 years.
This story time will have a greater emphasis on stories, but will also include familiar rhymes and songs.
This program will resume Thursdays at 10:15am
January 19 - February 23.
For all children aged 18 months to 3 years.
A parent-participation program for toddlers and their caregivers featuring songs, action rhymes, and stories.
This program will resume Tuesdays at 10:15am, on February 7.
For newborns - 18 months.
Enjoy bonding with your baby through songs, rhymes, tickles and circle time.
Parents will learn fun ways to interact with their child during this two hour oral early literacy program. Snack time and play time are included in each sessions. In partnership with The Clubhouse Childcare Centre, and funding by the BC Ministry of Children and Family Development.
For newborns to 4 years of age.

A new Writer's group with the emphasis on publishing will be holding their meetings at Westbank Library each Wednesday from2:00 - 4:00. New members are welcome.

Westbank branch has a meeting room available for rent. With a theatre style set-up, the room has a seating capacity of 20-25.
The room is available on open days and rents for $40.00 for the first 2 hours and $10.00 per hour for each additional hour. Bookings are not confirmed until the rental fee has been paid.

The Westbank Friends of the Library, formed in February 2001, actively support the work of the library and its staff.
The monies raised from their book sales are used to buy non-budget items and to sponsor various programs and events that take place in the library.
The Friends also organize the popular Wednesday Evening Speakers Programs that take place in the library once a month during the winter/spring months.
