WELCOME TO THE OSOYOOS LIBRARY

Please come in and make yourself at home.    We have comfy chairs, WiFi, newspapers, magazines, books, friendly staff  and work tables with access to power.

Enjoy our quilted wall art, hung above our three internet stations.  On the first of every month a new quilt is displayed from one of our many talented Osoyoos Quilters.

 fall storytime

squirrel

Storytime will begin on Thursday, September 25, 2014 from 10:00 - 10:45am.  Join us every Thursday morning until December 11 for lots of fun and interaction with stories, puppets, crafts and songs.  We'd love to see you and your 3 - 5yr olds!

Friends of the Library

The Osoyoos Library has a "Friends of the Library" group which meets about 4 times per year.  These hard working volunteers raise money through book sales to support the library in a variety of ways.  Check out our beautiful Bookcase that the 'Friends' had built for us to display used books that we sell throughout the year.   Also our Newspaper rack and Children's Storyhour carpet, all purchased for us by our 'Friends'.  The annual 'Friends' book sale is held every August by the fountain at Town Hall.
