The Lions Club & The Royal Canadian Legion #227 have provided funds for age appropriate books for all 6, 12 and 18 month old children in Okanagan Falls.
Families receive book certificates to exchange for the books at the Okanagan Falls library. Communities for Kids partners with these two service clubs, the Okanagan Falls library and Public Health who distribute the certificates. A reading tip is included in each book.
Parents don't forget to come into the library and pick up your child's book.

Okanagan Falls has a wonderful Friends of the Library group and we are always happy to welcome new volunteers as members. Please contact the library for more information.
We will be asking the community to donate items for our annual book sale. If you have any books/DVDs/CDs in new or like new condition that you wish to part with, please consider them for the Friends of the Library Book Sale. All proceeds go towards programming and our kids Summer Reading Club, and Story Times.
We do not accept encyclopedias or Readers Digest condensed books.
