AUTHOR VISITS
The Keremeos Library like to thank author May Q. Wong for her fascinating reading of her novel "A Cowherd in Paradise" on April 11th, 2013. We all enjoyed her visit and wish her the best on her remaining book tours.
Due to the success of the of this event, we will be welcoming local author of "The Ordinary Adept" Phyllis Straub in June 2013. Please watch for dates to follow or inquire at the branch for details.
PRESCHOOL STORYTIME
Our spring Storytime program is now over for the season. We shared lots of stories, crafts and fun. We ended our program this season with a special visit from local author Elizabeth Morantz. She read her book "Grammy Right and Wrong" and we had a surprise guest join us, Rowdy the dog, one of the characters from her book! A fun time was had by all.
Please watch for the fall program to begin again in September 2013. Our storytime program runs every Friday at 11:15 am and is a free program for preschool aged children which includes stories, crafts, fingerplays and puppets. To register, please visit the branch or call 250-499-2313.
SUMMER READING CLUB
Our theme for Summer Reading Club this year is Up, Up and Away. We will be offering programs for kids aged 5 to 12 years old throughout July and August. Please watch for more details to come...
FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY
The Keremeos Library has a "Friends of the Library" group which meets two or three times a year. This volunteer group raises money through booksales for furnishings and displays for the library. For information on joining the "Friends of the Library" group, call 250-499-2313.
BOOK and DVD DONATIONS
We request that you do not place donation items in the book drop; please see library reception during open hours or call 250-499-2313 prior to donating. The Keremeos Library appreciates all of the generous donations we receive!
LEGAL SERVICES
Para-legal services are available at the Keremeos Branch on the third Tuesday of every month from 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. at the library.
Drop in - no appointment necessary.
