Librarians are busy planning Summer Reading Club activities for July and August for school children aged 5 - 12 years.

Activities will kick off as school ends - near the end of June 2014.  Watch here or in the library for details as they develop.

The 2014 SRC Theme is Funny Business!  The artist for this year’s BC Summer Reading Club is: Jeremy Tankard!  You can find some of his books at the library.

(ask a librarian if you need help).

The Enderby LEGO activities continue on DROP-IN basis!

LEGO for 6 to 12 year olds.  DUPLO for 3 - 5 year olds.

Any time the library is open.

Stop in or phone the library at 250-838-6488 if you have questions.

Children should be accompanied by an adult who can help and supervise if needed.  Staff may not be able to closely supervise children during this program as the library is open for other activities at this same time.

Enderby is still accepting LEGO Donations!

The Enderby Branch is pleased to offer this activity thanks to the generous contributions of many people - You know who you are!  We are still collecting LEGO pieces!   If you have some LEGO to donate to your local library it will be loved, very appreciated and well used!

We have enough DUPLO and the really big MEGA BLOCKS, thanks!

 Thanks for supporting your library!

Enderby Library Friends Annual Booksale - BIG SUCCESS !!

A big THANK YOU to everyone who donated and purchased books this year.

Enderby Library Friends raised almost $1300 at the two day sale.

Special thanks to the ELF volunteers, Marketplace IGA, The Enderby Seniors Center, the Cadets, and Judy Fischer of Remax. Your contributions will be used to provide special programs for children and adults and for enhanced equipment and furnishings for the library.

For 2014 the group will be sorting, organizing and storing donated items prior to the next sale which is planned for OCTOBER 2014. Thanks to Judy Fischer for helping ELF find a location to organize and store the sale items.

Enderby Library Friends - About ELF

The Friends of the Library group in Enderby was formed in September 2000.   Named the Enderby Library Friends (E.L.F.), the members raise awareness in the community about library services.  They also generate funds to provide special items and programs to enhance the branch. Each year since 2009 ELF funds have paid for special Summer Reading Club programs and prizes.  E.L.F. also paid for a mural in the children's area of the branch, a baby change table in the library washroom and many special presenters for childrens' programs.

E.L.F. members maintain their profile in the community with an annual used book sale under the direction of a volunteer co-ordinator.  This group of volunteers is committed to providing ongoing benefits for the Enderby branch.  If you are interested in supporting your local Library please contact the Enderby Branch of the Okanagan Regional Library at 250-838-6488.
