  • Decorative paper, washi tape, recycled book pages or comics, or make your own decorative paper
  • Pencil
  • Scissors

  • Paint brush

Instructions:

Day 1 -

  1. Trace a popsicle stick on the back of the different decorative paper with the pencil. Cut out and set aside. (Trace and cut out more than one).
  2. Place about 8 craft popsicle sticks in a pot of water.Be sure to add plenty of water, as the water will evaporate while boiling.
  3. Bring the pot of water to a boil. Boil the sticks for 30 minutes. Remove from the heat and let the sticks sit in the hot water for an additional 15 minutes.
  4. Use the tongs to remove a stick and set it down. The stick should not be too hot but use caution. You can always use a towel or gloves to protect your hands.
  5. Shape the stick into a circle inside of the mason jar, near the very top of the jar.Let the sticks dry overnight. ***You will likely have one or two sticks that will break, so make sure that you make extra.***

Day 2 -

  1. The sticks are now dry and are ready to be decorated. Brush a thin layer of Modge Podge over the outside of the bracelet.
  2. Carefully attach one of the cut out papers and smooth onto the bracelet.
  3. Apply a coat of Modge Podge to the top of the paper
  4. Let dry and apply one to two more coats.
  5. Follow the same instructions for the rest of the bracelets.
