Checkouts: If you currently have a book checked out from the RBdigital collection, it will be available through the remainder of the lending period, so you can finish your book without disruption or risk of losing your place in the book.
Holds and Wishlist: Holds and items on your wishlist cannot be moved to the ORL eBooks collection. You can get a record of this info from your account on the RBdigital Books website. Go to https://okanaganbc.rbdigital.com/profile, log in with your RBdigital account, and select Export My Transactions History to download a CSV file that you can open in your spreadsheet program. Once the title is available in the ORL eBooks collection, you can request the book again.

Step 1: Visit the website for the ORL's RBdigital collection.
Step 2: Click on the Register link in the upper right corner.
Enter the requested information and create a username and password. You will need to use these login credentials when signing in to check out books from the ORL’s RBdigital collection.
You can also use this account for the RBdigital Magazines and IndieFlix eMovies collections!
Do you already have an RBdigital Account for using the RBdigital Magazines and IndieFlix collections? You can sign in with that account and skip this account creation step.
Install RBdigital Media Manager software on your computer. This program is used for downloading eAudiobooks, managing and listening to your borrowed titles, and transferring your eAudiobook to a media player.
If you are not prompted to install the software after creating your account, you can install the software from the following link on the RBdigital website: https://okanaganbc.rbdigital.com/#/help/support , the programs for Mac (OS 10.7 or newer) or for Windows (Vista or newer) are listed under Audiobook Desktops Apps label.
After installing RBdigital Media Manager, you will be prompted to sign in with your RBdigital Account.

Click on the cover image of your desired book to see the checkout page.
Set the checkout period (you can choose up to 21 days).
Click on Checkout .
Most titles in the collection are always available, so there are no waitlists!
Some newer eAudiobooks may only be permitted to be checked out to one patron at a time and may already be checked out by another customer. Click on the Hold button to be put on a waiting list. Your book will be checked out automatically to your RBdigital account when it becomes available.
You can check out up to 10 digital books from this collection at a time.
Click on Open in the popup window at the bottom of the screen that appears after clicking on the Checkout button. Your title will open in the RBdigital Media Manager. You will be asked to sign in to the Media Manager with your RBdigital Account username and password, if you are not already logged in.
Your checked out titles can also be downloaded at any time. Sign in to the RBdigital website, click on the three-line menu icon ≡ in the top left corner of the screen to slide out the menu, then click on Checked Out. Your books should appear under the AUDIOBOOKS label. Click on the Download button underneath cover image of the book to download and open your book in RBdigital Media Manager.
Connect your compatible media player to your computer. In the RBdigital Media Manager program, click on the Download and Transfer button found under the book summary. The Media Manager will detect the device used and transfer the title.
Note: iPod users will need to set the device to Manually manage music and videos in iTunes to allow the title to be transferred.
Sign in to the RBdigital website.
Click on the three-line menu icon ≡ in the top left corner of the app screen to slide out the menu.
Click Checked Out.
The Renew option can be found underneath the cover image for the eBook.
You can also click of the cover image of the digital book to view its info page, and access the Renew and Return options from there.
The Renew and Return buttons are available underneath the book summary on the My Titles screen.
